Dancing with the dead

The 20th annual Bailando con la Muerte which means dancing with the Dead was held inside the Hartnell College Art Gallery.

Live entertainment and art work paid tribute to those that have passed away.

“There’s some traditional art but there’s also art from different cultures and how they remember their loved ones that have passed away,” said Trish Triumphosullivan, director of Artistas Unidos. “So it’s a way to welcome everyone and bring all cultures together through the arts.”

The event ended with a procession from Hartnell College to Maya Cinemas for a Frida Kahlo look-alike contest.
