Man faces attempted murder charge after stabbing in King City

King City Police arrested a 39-year-old man in connection to a stabbing that hospitalized another man.

Police said Arnulfo Ibarra Rodriguez, 39, is in the Monterey County Jail on several felony charges, including attempted murder.

The victim, 34, was treated for multiple wounds to the head and arms. The victim identified the suspect by the nickname “El Cora.” Police were able to find Rodriguez less than 24 hours after the stabbing.
