Police investigate drive-by shooting in Seaside

The Seaside Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened on Fremont Boulevard.

According to police, officers responded to a report of a shooting between moving vehicles around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Witnesses told police a light colored sedan and burgundy or purple sedan with paper plates may have been involved. The cars were seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed.

No one was hurt in the shooting.
