Salinas man dead after being struck by a car
One man is dead after an overnight crash involving a pedestrian.
It happened around 11:05 p.m. Tuesday night near Castroville.
According to CHP, a 60-year-old Salinas man was walking south on SR-183, south of Espinosa Road.
He was struck by a man driving a 2007 Toyota Camry. The driver has been identified as 28-year-old Wilfrido Jacobo.
At this time, the crash is considered under investigation.
