Watsonville PAL program expands

The Watsonville Police Activities League was busy Thursday painting a new building after Measure G money helped fund the program’s expansion.

Community leaders and volunteers helped PAL staff give the organization’s second building a facelift with the help of BEHR paint and Home Depot’s donations.

The non-profit took over the building on Davis Avenue once occupied by Parks and Recreation Neighborhood Services division of the city.

This give Watsonville PAL two locations in different parts of the city to service at-risk youth.
