Vacaville man busted for allegedly transporting drugs to Santa Cruz County

A Vacaville man is facing multiple drug charges stemming from a vehicle search on Highway 17 in Scotts Valley on July 10, according to Santa Cruz Police.

Investigators said Gabriel Guzman, 41, was pulled over by the Santa Cruz Police Neighborhood Enforcement Team, which also works with the Santa Cruz County Anti-Crime Team.

During a search of his car, investigators said they discovered Guzman was transporting drugs including cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin and about $16,000 in cash.

A search warrant was served at Guzman’s home in Vacaville, where investigators said they found more cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, heroin, about $12,000 in cash and three guns.

Guzman was arrested and charged with multiple drug offenses.
