UPDATE: 23-month-old boy found in a hot tub in Watsonville
UPDATE 8:43 p.m.: An 23-month-old boy found in a hot tub in Watsonville has died.
According to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, the boy passed away at the hospital.
UPDATE 6:35 p.m.: The Santa Cruz Sheriff’s office said a 23-month-old boy was found in a hot tub on KOA Campgrounds on San Andreas Road in Watsonville.
Deputies said the toddler is From Scotts Valley.

Emergency medical crews responded to the KOA Campgrounds on San Andreas Road in Watsonville around 3:30pm Monday for reports of a young child in a pool.
Reports indicate that people at the camp tried to do CPR before medical crews arrived.
The Sheriff’s Department can confirm the 23-month-old was taken to Watsonville Hospital, but they also say that a coroner has been called to the campground and sheriff detectives are on scene.
