Salinas Police investigating two shootings just less than two hours apart
UPDATE 10:17 p.m. Police are investigating two shootings that happened hours apart in Salinas.
According to Police, a man was working on his vehicle in his driveway on Bardin Circle when he was hit in the leg.
Police said two people in another vehicle drove by and started shooting.
They fired between 3 to 5 shots.
The man is expected to survive. Police don’t know if the shooting is gang-related.
It is not clear if the shooting is related to another shooting that happened hours earlier Wednesday night on Green Street.

A man who was shot in the face was sent to the hospital Wednesday night after a double-shooting in Salinas.
A vehicle pulled in front of a driveway of a house on the 1100 block of Green Street just after 7 p.m. Police said that’s when someone in the passenger side of the vehicle began shooting at two men who were outside working on a car.
One man was shot in the hand and refused medical attention. The second victim was shot in the face.
Both victims are expected to survive.
There is no suspect information at this time.
Police don’t know if the shooting is gang-related.
