Citizenship ceremonies held across the country and in Asilomar

77 immigrants became American citizens during a swearing in ceremony in Asilomar.

Nationwide more than 4,000 others are doing the same this holiday weekend. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is asking people to tag their pictures with #NewUScitizen.

The ceremonies are part of annual Independence Day celebrations.
