Shots fired on N. Main in Salinas Wednesday morning

Salinas Police are investigating a case of shots fired near North Main and East Menke St. Wednesday morning.

Police aren’t sure whether victim was shot or not. Dispatchers received reports of a man armed with a gun and they have detained one person who matches that description.

Officers said a gun wasn’t found, but shell casings were recovered in the area. Officers are searching the area of Bridge Street for more evidence.
