Seven people arrested in undercover drug bust near San Lorenzo River Levee

Seven people are facing drug charges after a sting operation in Santa Cruz last Friday.

Santa Cruz Police said the department’s Neighborhood Enforcement Team worked with the Santa Cruz County Anti-Crime Team to make the arrests June 19.

During the investigation, undercover officers said the seven suspects tried to sell them drugs including methamphetamine and heroin near the San Lorenzo River Levee.

Investigators said those seven people include: David Morse, 56, transient, Jennelle Arnold, 44, transient, Mack Palmer, 41, transient, Seth Fusari, 35, of Santa Cruz, Jean Perez, 34, transient, Kenneth Munn, 33, transient, and Michael Farley, 40, transient.

Santa Cruz Police said the investigation was done in response to complaints of suspicious activity and possible drug sales near the levee. Investigators said they plan to continue enforcement efforts in the area.
