One dead after suspected drunk driving crash in Las Lomas Sunday night
California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash killing one person Sunday evening on Hall Road in Las Lomas, west of Willow Road. Officers said a Green Honda Accord was traveling eastbound and for unknown reasons crossed the double yellow line to oncoming westbound traffic, colliding head-on with a gray GMC.
Officers said the driver of the Accord, a 31-year-old man, was killed on impact. A 19-year-old man driving the gray GMC had major injuries as well as one of the passengers, an 18-year-old woman, who was not wearing her seat belt, officers said. They were both transported to Natividad Medical Center.
The other passenger, a 16-year-old man, suffered moderate injuries and was treated at Watsonville Community Hospital.
CHP said alcohol was believed to be a factor in this crash, however its still under investigation.
