Salinas police prostitution sting nets three arrests

Salinas police’s Violence Suppression Unit conducted an undercover prostitution sting Saturday night.

They had received complaints about prostitution in the area of East Market Street and Kern Street, police said.

Officers arrested three women: Chancee Lewis, 18, Julie Ramos, 48, and Michelle Garcia, 47, for allegedly offering sex for money to undercover police.
