Salinas police looking for Factory 2U robber

Salinas detectives are looking for a man who they said stole clothes from a Factory 2U at 1606 N. Main St. last Friday.

Officers said the suspect brought some items to the cash register and placed them on the counter.

The clerk told police they believed the suspect was going to pay for them until he lifted his shirt and showed a handgun, forcing the cashier to hand over money at the counter.

Officers said the suspect ran out the door. He is described as a white male, 30 years old, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 220 pounds, wearing a black hoodie and black Dickie’s shorts.

Detectives said he was last seen in a white Toyota Camry.
