Watsonville Little Ceasars robbed at gun point, police say

Watsonville police said at Little Ceasars Pizza was robbed by a masked man Sunday around 9:15 p.m. Officers said a driver flagged police down near Freedom Blvd. and Davis Ave. to report the incident. Employees also called 911.

Officers said the suspect is a man, seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a red bandana. Witnesses said he showed a handgun as he jumped over the counter where the cash registers and the cash safe were located. They also said the man pointed the gun at employees demanding money.

The employee reportedly said the suspect tried to get money out of the safe after she wasn’t able to open it. The suspect was last seen running eastbound behind 10 Blanca Ln. and he didn’t get away with any cash.
