Gang Task Force arrest man for possession of methamphetamine

A 34-year-old man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and cash believed to be from the sales of the drug, the Santa Cruz County Anti-Crime Team and Gang Task Force said.

Sergio Quezada Chavez was arrested Thursday in Watsonville after the Gang Task Force with the help of Homeland Security Inspectors found over 16 grams of crystal methamphetamine and over $2,8000 in cash, officers said.

Officers estimated the methamphetamine to be valued up to $2,000.
