UPDATE: Aptos young man missing, at-risk has been found safe

UPDATE 1.26.15: The missing 22-year-old who had prior medical issues that place him at-risk if not treated was found safe over the weekend. Brenden Cruz-Lynch returned home and was unaware that people were looking for him according to the Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Office.

1.23.15: The Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in locating missing 22-year-old Brenden Cruz-Lynch.

Cruz-Lynch was last seen at 8:00a.m. Monday at his home on North Avenue in Aptos when his family says he left to go visit an unidentified friend.

Sheriff investigators say Brenden has had prior medical issues that place him at risk if not treated.

His family says he frequents the North Rodeo Gulch area and is driving a Silver/Grey 2001 Toyota Corolla 4 door, License plate #5GEW752.

The back of the car has several stickers including an Irish Flag decal.

Brenden was last seen wearing blue denim jeans and brown hiking boots.

The Sheriff’s Office encourages everyone to be on the lookout for Brenden or his vehicle and to immediately call sheriff’s dispatch at (831) 471-1121 if Brenden is seen or if they have any additional information regarding his whereabouts.
