Marina man arrested on multiple charges during probation search

Officers from the Marina Police Department and the Peninsula Regional Violence and Narcotics Team arrested a 21-year-old man Tuesday during a probation search.

Tobias Jones was contacted at a residence on Bayer Street.

Officers found a loaded stolen pistol inside Jones’ dresser along with other personal items and gang indicia. Police say Jones is a Seaside Crip gang member.

He was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of stolen property and violation of probation.
