Save Our Shores, PG&E employees clean up 687 lbs. of trash from Del Monte Beach

Save Our Shores teamed up with employees from PG&E Tuesday for what the organization says was its largest corporate cleanup ever.

Nearly 350 of PG&E’s electric managers from all over California ame together at Del Monte Beach and cleaned up 687 pounds of trash.

“It was impressive to join forces with Save Our Shores and be a part of a massive sea of blue shirts,” said Greg Kiraly, senior vice president, electric distribution operations. “PG&E was able to hold a business meeting and end the day supporting the community. It was a beautiful day in Monterey.”

The company also donated $10,000 to the Summer of Clean Beach program, which will help fund Save Our Shores future clean up efforts.
