Outdoor educators sought by Monterey Peninsula parks

The Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District is seeking proposals from qualified and enthusiastic outdoor education instructors for their upcoming Let’s Go Outdoors! Adventure Activities Guide.

Instructors who want to share their passion for, and knowledge of the outdoors with the residents of the Monterey Peninsula and beyond should submit a proposal as soon as possible for consideration.

The LGO outdoor education program offers everything from nature hikes for children to outdoor adventures just for seniors.

Proposals are due August 15, and selected instructors will be contacted for in-person interviews. Instructors will work under contract and be subject to a fingerprint background check.

For more information, contact Joseph Narvaez at 372.3196 x 102 or at narvaez@mprpd.org. Program proposal forms can be downloaded from the district’s website.
