Three small fires contained in Boulder Creek
Cal Fire crews contained three small fires burning in Boulder Creek Thursday evening where the Big Basin Highway connects with Highway 9.
Crews quickly responded to upper Highway 236 where they said water on all sides of the fire helped with containment.
Boulder Creek Fire’s twitter page said firefighters had the first two fires surrounded a little after 6 p.m. Boulder Creek tweeted the fires were approximately three acres in size, but Cal Fire Felton later had an estimate of 1 acre.
Cal fire requested a water tender from Boulder Creek for the vegetation fires.
