Teen shot in King City Wednesday night
King City police say a 16-year-old boy was shot Wednesday night in the ankle.
Police say it happened on Collins Street around 10 p.m.
The victim told police he was walking home when he suddenly heard gun shots and realized he’d been hit.
He then ran to a nearby house to ask for help.
Police say several callers reported the gun shots and say they saw a newer model Ford Explorer leaving the scene.
The victim was treated and released Wednesday night.
