Participation sought in Santa Cruz County passenger rail survey

The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission is studying the feasibility of train service along the 32-mile rail line, which roughly parallels Highway 1 and the coast.

The organization is asking people to participate in an online survey through August 3.

Responses to the survey will have a “very real” impact on decisions regarding potential rail transit, according to RTC officials.

The survey is online here.

More information about the project is available here.
