Man accused of burglarizing Soquel restaurant arrested in Santa Clara County

A man wanted in connection with a burglary at a Soquel restaurant was arrested last week in Santa Clara County, deputies said.

Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies believe Roy Knox unlawfully entered Michael’s on Main on June 30 just after 7 a.m. and took around $500 and video surveillance equipment from the business.

The next day, Know was arrested by Santa Clara County Sheriff’s deputies in connection with a burglary in that jurisdiction. Evidence in his possession linked him to the Soquel burglary, according to deputies.

Knox is currently in custody on separate charges in Santa Clara County. Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies have requested an arrest warrant for his case in Santa Cruz County.
