Two Oakland woman arrested for Scotts Valley burglaries

Scotts Valley Police have arrested two Oakland women in connection with a number of recent burglaries.

On Sunday, officers received information pertaining to the investigation of a number of burglaries from local businesses. Officers contacted two women matching the description of suspects from recent burglaries, which led them to a car containing numerous items of stolen property.

Ayanna Morales, 22, and Deja Lambert, 20, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of burglary tools and conspiracy. They were booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.

Police say additional charges may be pending.
