Foster Freeze in Watsonville robbed with BB gun

Watsonville police are seeking the person they say robbed a Freedom Boulevard business armed a BB gun Thursday night.

Officers were dispatched to the Foster Freeze at 1487 Freedom Boulevard shortly before 9 p.m. for reports of an armed robbery. Employees reported that a male entered the business wearing black clothing, a black mask and gloves, carrying what appeared to be a BB gun. He demanded money from the cash register and then fled on foot toward Arthur Road.

The suspect was further described as being a Hispanic male, approximately 5’7″ and with a medium build. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Watsonville Police Department at 768-3352 or the crime tipline at 768-3544.
