Morgan Hill police seeking man who robbed Subway restaurant

Morgan Hill police are seeking a man they say tried to rob a Target customer before robbing a local Subway restaurant.

Around 9 p.m. Thursday, a white man with a Mohawk brandished a shotgun from his vehicle at a woman walking through the parking lot of the Target store on Cochrane Road. He drove up next to her and demanded her purse. She refused and the man fled. He was driving a white four-door sedan with a black bar on the front grill, possibly a Chevrolet Cavalier or a Dodge Neon.

About five minutes later, the same man walked into the Subway restaurant in the Cochrane Plaza and demanded money as he threatened employees with a shotgun. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

He’s described as being roughly in his 20s, thin with a Mohawk hair cut. He has a tattoo on his left wrist and was last seen wearing a black “Punisher” T-shirt, green shorts and black and white shoes.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Morgan Hill police at 408-779-2101.
