Chino, Fresno police seeking missing 80-year-old woman
A statewide alert has been issued for an 80-year-old woman missing from Chino.
Chino police detectives say Rosario Crouse has been missing since Saturday. She has been living with her daughter in Chino, but on Saturday morning, she said she wanted to live somewhere else, perhaps in Indio. She packed her belongings and said she was heading east.
On Monday, Crouse’s wallet was turned into the Fresno police department by an individual who said he’d found it on the street. Fresno police officers contacted Crouse’s son, who called his mother’s cellphone. The phone was answered by someone who said he’d purchased the phone on the street for $20.
The son contacted Chino police.
