Santa Cruz man arrested after police say he had a pound of marijuana

Scotts Valley police say 20-year-old Christian Zane Hudson is behind bars after they discovered a pound of marijuana and a loaded semi-automatic pellet pistol in his car.

Officers say Hudson was originally pulled over for a mechanical violation, when police detected an odor of marijuana.

Officers say Hudson was arrested after police discovered he was on felony probation for prior drug offenses.
