PETA offering $5k reward in assaulted Boulder Creek cat case
Animal rights organization PETA is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals who apparently assaulted a cat.
Residents of a Boulder Creek home discovered their cat bleeding Monday and took her to their local veterinarian. The veterinarian determined the cat had been sexually traumatized, apparently with a blunt object. Officials believe the assault may have involved multiple suspects and appears to have taken place Sunday or Monday.
No arrests have been made at this time. PETA announced Thursday it’s offering a reward of up to $5,000.
