Man arrested for various drugs and weapon charges in Aptos

Iran Perez, 31, is behind bars, according to deputies, after he was found in possession of both drugs and a gun.

Deputies say Perez got away from them a previous time after a search warrant. The county gang task force along with the police department then continued to track Perez to his whereabouts. Deputies say they were able to locate him Friday, where he was arrested without incident on various drugs and weapons charges.
