Seaside police arrest two in Friday afternoon shooting

Two men are in the Monterey County jail Friday after police say they tried shooting someone.

Officers responded to the 1100 block of Harcourt Ave. just before 2 p.m. Friday for reports of numerous shots fired. Investigators located the intended victim, who wasn’t injured.

Thanks to multiple witness accounts, officers located two suspects in a vehicle on the 1200 block of Sonoma Ave. immediately after.

24-year-old Krystian Pinkard and 32-year-old Dwight Gross were booked in the Monterey County Jail, each charged with attempted murder.
