Two arrested after residential burglary in Salinas
Salinas police arrested two people after responding to reports of a residential burglarly on Loyola Drive Wednesday morning. A car with three males inside was spotted stopping in front of a residence. Two of the occupants went to the rear of the home, while the third went to the front. The three left a few moments later.
Before officers arrived, one of the males had fled from the car. Police stopped the car near Montecito and Kentfield.
Victore Fiero, 18, was found in possession of property from the Loyola Drive residence, as was the 17-year-old driver. The driver was taken to Juvenile Hall and Fiero was taken to Monterey County Jail on charges of burglary, conspiracy and possession of marijuana.
Fiero also faces a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police are not releasing the driver’s name because of his age.
