Carmel Valley woman killed in late night crash
UPDATED March, 11, 2014:
CHP said Saturday a 25-year-old female from Carmel Valley was killed at 2:02 a.m. Friday night during a car crash.
Officers said the victim, identified as Kate Thomas, was walking on Esquiline Road, just south of Carmel Valley Road.
28-year-old Breezie Snyder was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter.
Thomas was taken to Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula where she later died.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, March 12 at Paul Mortuary in Pacific Grove from 4 to 8 p.m. with a memorial to follow on Saturday at noon at Community Park in Carmel Valley.
