Officer Stabbed in Soledad Thursday Afternoon
A police officer was stabbed in Soledad on Thursday afternoon after police say officers responded to a domestic disturbance call that quickly turned violent.
Police say it happened around 2:45 p.m. on the 400 block of Granada Drive when officers encountered Noel Ledesma pacing around the room holding a child.

This is when Ledesma took out a razor blade or box-cutting style knife and began fighting with the officers in the hallway, police said. Ledesma then charged at the officers, knocking one of the down and eventually stabbing him in his left ear area, upper shoulder and lower back area as well, police said.
The officer was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he was treated and later released.
Ledesmawas arrested for multiple charges, including attempted murder of a police officer.
