High Speed Chase on Highway 68, Suspect Ran Out of Gas
Officers arrested a man early Tuesday morning after he led them on high speed chase down Highway 68.
A Monterey County deputy pulled Alejandro Langoria over for crossing the double yellow line on Highway 68 near York Road around 2 a.m.
Deputies said that during the traffic stop Langoria sped away in his 1993 Ford Mustang, leading them on a high speed chase.
Langoria eventually ran out of gas on Highway 68 and Torero Drive, said deputies, and was taken into custody.
Officers searched the Mustang and said they found credit cards stolen from San Jose.
Langoria was also driving under the influence, said deputies. The reports indicate that Langoria had both cannabis and a stimulant in his system.
