The suspect physically escorted the victim back in her car and ordered her to leave the property. The victim requested criminal prosecution indicating she was battered by the suspect. The suspect was not taken into custody. However, a Request for Criminal Complaint will be submitted to the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office.

Synopsis:On 12/22/13, at approximately 0238 hours, Deputies responded to a residence in regards to a domestic violence case. The suspect, Rosalinda Ruiz, entered Dadwal’s residence, grabbed three large kitchen knives and walked to Dadwals bedroom. Ruiz stood over Dadwal holding the knives in a threatening manner. Dadwal, along with his father, had to physically restrain Ruiz and remove the knives from her hands. Upon arrival, Deputies took Ruiz into custody and escorted Ruiz out of the residence. Ruiz attempted to kick the Deputies multiple times. Ruiz had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her person, a staggered gait, red/glossy eyes and slurred speech. Ruiz was a danger to herself and others. Ruiz was arrested and booked into the county jail.
