Two Victims Shot in Watsonville
Two victims are recovering after suffering gunshot wounds to the legs, according to Watsonville Police.
It happened Monday night on the 100 block of Arthur Road. Police say there was some kind of altercation that escalated between the victims and the suspec. The suspect then produced a handgun and fired several times at the victims, striking both in victims once in the lower extremities. The suspect then fled the area. Watsonvile Police searched the area, but could not locate the suspect.
Police say the victims provided only few details regarding the incident, and neither provided a description of the suspects. Police say both were not cooperative with the investigation. Both victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police are investigating the shooting as gang related.
