Monterey man arrested on suspicion of meth sales
MONTEREY, Calif. (KION) A Monterey man was arrested in Carmel Valley on suspicion of meth sales, according to police.
The Monterey Police Department said it received information about large quantities of meth being transported and sold on the Monterey Peninsula over the past month and began an investigation.
During the investigation, Monterey police identified 29-year-old Kristopher Crow as the person suspected of supplying the meth.
On Saturday, detectives worked with the Monterey County Sheriff's Office and DEA to serve a search warrant on Cachagua Road in Carmel Valley. Detectives said they found four pounds of crystal meth, heroin, powdered fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, evidence of identity theft and $30,000 in cash during the search.
Crow was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail on possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and identity theft charges.
