SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION) A driver has been arrested on several charges following a traffic stop in Santa Cruz.

Police said officers pulled over the driver, identified as Jose Campos, near River Street. They said he had a stolen handgun with ammunition, burglary tools and drug paraphernalia. He was also a felon with outstanding warrants for his arrest, according to police.

Campos was arrested on multiple charges, including felon in possession of a gun and felon in possession of ammunition.
