Teen cited in connection to 14 vandalism incidents in Marina

MARINA, Calif. (KION) The Marina Police Department has arrested a 14-year-old in connection to several vandalism incidents in the city.

Over the past two weeks, police said there have been 14 documented incidents around Reservation Road, DeForest Road and Del Monte Boulevard, which caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to businesses and city property.

Based on the amount of damage, police said seven of the incidents are considered felonies.

Police used surveillance video and other information to identify the 14-year-old boy as the suspect. He was arrested on Saturday and cited for seven felony and seven misdemeanor counts of vandalism.
