Free drive-thru COVID-19 testing available at several Monterey County sites
MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The Monterey County Health Department announced that there will be free drive-thru COVID-19 testing for residents with or without symptoms.
The testing is available on a first come, first served basis for residents aged 18 and older. Participants are asked to bring a photo ID.
The testing will be held at the following times and locations:
- Castroville: Oct. 8 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Castroville County Library, 11160 Speegle Street
- Gonzales: Oct. 8 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Toots Vosti Memorial Center, 107 Centennial Drive
- Gonzales: Oct. 9 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Toots Vosti Memorial Center, 107 Centennial Drive
- Soledad: Oct. 9 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Soledad High School, 435 Gabilan Drive
- King City: Oct. 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at King City Library, 402 Broadway
- Salinas: Oct. 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hartnell Alisal Campus, 1752 E. Alisal Street
- Salinas: Oct. 13 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sherwood Hall, 940 N. Main Street
- Salinas: Oct. 14 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Sherwood Hall, 940 N. Main Street
- Marina: Oct. 14 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Marina County Library, 190 Seaside Circle
- Marina: Oct. 15 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Marina County Library, 190 Seaside Circle
- Seaside: Oct. 15 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Seaside High School, 2200 Noche Buena
- Seaside: Oct. 16 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Seaside High School, 2200 Noche Buena
The county said testing does not affect immigration status, and bilingual staff are available.
