WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KION)

A San Jose charity handed out cash donations to fire evacuees at the Walker Street Warehouse in Watsonville, Saturday.

Envelopes containing $50 each were handed out dozens of evacuees in need, according to Nhat Tam volunteers.

The charity's co founder Vivian Pham says this is the second time the charity has been able to make direct cash donations to evacuees impacted by the recent wildfires.
