Missing Santa Cruz teen found safe

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION)

UPDATE 6:15 p.m. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said Makenna Keating has been found safe.

PREVIOUS STORY: The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office is asking for help as they look for a missing Santa Cruz teen.

Investigators said 15-year-old Makenna Keating was reported missing by family members Monday. She was last seen at around 2 p.m. at her Santa Cruz home.

Keating's family said she often goes to beaches along East Cliff and Capitola Village.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 831-471-1121 and reference case #2006133.
