Pop-up COVID-19 testing site opening in Castroville
CASTROVILLE, Calif. (KION) The Monterey County Health Department announced that a pop-up COVID-19 testing site will be opening in Castroville.
The site will be at the Monterey County Free Library Castroville Branch on Speegle Street.
There will be four clinics at the site, and they will be held at these times or until 100 tests have been conducted:
- July 15 and 22 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- July 16 and 23 from 3 to 7 p.m.
Testing at the sites is free, and patients do not need to show symptoms to be tested. The health department said testing will not affect the patient's immigration status, and they do not need a doctor's note or health insurance.
