Restrooms reopening in Pleasure Point and East Cliff Parkway areas
PLEASURE POINT, Calif. (KION) Restrooms in the Pleasure Point and East Cliff Parkway areas are reopening.
The Santa Cruz County Parks Department said it came to the decision after a suggestion from Supervisor John Leopold and consultation with Health Officer Gail Newel.
The parks department said the restrooms will be cleaned throughout the day, seven days a week.
Earlier in the week, Pleasure Point residents told KION that restroom closures led to frequent public urination.
