Santa Cruz County School gets new School Resource Officer

A Central Coast school is set to get a new School Resource Officer. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office says Deputy Marc O’Hara will be joining the team at Monte Vista Christian School.

The Sheriff’s Office says O’Hara has worked for the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office for the past four years in corrections and patrol. They also say O’Hara served four years in the United States Air Force as a military police officer and served a six month tour in Saudi Arabia.
