MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) - A staple of summers in Monterey is ready to ride once more.

Monterey-Salinas Transit is bringing out the Monterey Trolley again this Memorial Day weekend. The Trolley is free for locals and visitors and operates from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

The Trolley departs from the Downtown Parking Garages on Tyler and Del Monte Avenue every 10 to 15 minutes for riders at the garages to get around easier without needing their cars.

The route will pass through the sights of Monterey, from Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row, Downtown Monterey, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

The trolley will run from May 24 to Labor Day, September 1.
