Deputies looking for more victims after Aptos suspect arrested for child sexual assault

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said an Aptos man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting at least two children.
Deputies were recently alerted to a sexual battery involving one child that occurred several years ago, according to investigators. The investigation revealed at least two victims.
Based on the evidence, investigators said a warrant was obtained; 67-year old Kevin Hurley of Aptos was arrested on March 21st on several sex-related charges, including lewd and lascivious acts with a child and dissuading a victim or witness.
The sheriff's office said due to Hurley's previous involvement in a local agricultural program and a church group, investigators are looking into the potential for additional victims.
