Deadly crash Monday evening between San Benito and Santa Clara counties

SAN BENITO COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The CHP Hollister-Gilroy said that a 79-year-old San Mateo woman is dead following a crash that involved a sedan and big rig along the San Benito and Santa Clara County lines.

The CHP Monterey Communications Center said that they received multiple reports of a traffic crash at that location, and they arrived on scene to find a deadly vehicle crash.

Drugs and alcohol were not suspected to be contributing factors in the crash.
